FAQ

Quest Psychology is a good fit if you’re looking for neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed assessment that goes beyond checklists and stereotypes. I work with adults who want clarity, not gatekeeping—especially those who’ve been overlooked, misdiagnosed, or dismissed in the past.

If you’re unsure, I offer consultation options to help you decide before committing to a full evaluation.

Yes. Quest Psychology specializes in adult psychological assessment. My approach and tools are designed for adult presentations of ADHD, autism, trauma, and complex neurodivergent profiles.

No referral is required for private-pay services. If you are seeking an evaluation for a specific purpose (e.g., workplace accommodations, immigration, bariatric surgery), I can let you know what documentation is typically needed.

I offer comprehensive, individualized evaluations, including:

  • ADHD assessments (including later-in-life diagnosis)

  • Autism assessments (adult & high-masking presentations)

  • Neurodiversity-affirming “clarity consults”

  • Trauma-informed diagnostic evaluations

  • Specialized evaluations (e.g., bariatric, immigration, reality TV/entertainment, VA exams)

Each evaluation is tailored—no one-size-fits-all batteries.

Timelines vary depending on the type of evaluation, but most adult assessments occur over multiple sessions and are completed within several weeks from start to finish.

Quest Psychology is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance.

This allows for:

  • Longer appointments

  • Individualized assessment batteries

  • Reduced diagnostic gatekeeping

  • Greater clinical independence

Some clients choose to submit receipts to their insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. I’m happy to provide documentation, but reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies by plan.

I believe access matters. Limited reduced-fee options or consult-based services may be available depending on the service. Availability varies—please inquire directly.
